60 Paradise Farm Listed Barn Conversion and Farmhouse Remodelling

Paradise Farm sits on top of the Peak District. It has wonderful views from the stunning set of Grade II listed buildings. The barn dates pre-1800, as do parts of the house. The house has been added to and remodelled many times, but appears to have started as two very small cottages.

Our brief was to convert the barn for use as a dwelling and bring the house up to 21st century living standards. Both schemes require a very delicate touch, but with a delicate contemporary twist.

The barn is nearing completion. The wall is based on a traditional feature to combat the gale force winter winds of the high peaks.
