32 RAF Building, Goxhill

Change of use from a former RAF building into a dwelling with workshop.

The land was classed as agricultural as it had been used for farming for over 40 years. It was outside of the allowed development boundary and classed as open countryside.

This would typically not obtain permission for a dwelling.

Ettridge Architecture researched the history of the site in World War II and argued that it was a ‘heritage asset’, and that the only way to retain such an asset is to allow conversion to a dwelling.
